Every girl needs some lipsticks

Lipsticks have quickly become the favourite part of my makeup routine, I truly believe that they can change the way your whole look. Therefore today I'm going to show you some of my favourite lipsticks, although I'm still waiting to purchase some famous Mac lipsticks. I don't have a Mac locally so I haven't been able to get my hands on any, but hopefully that day will come sooner rather than later.

17 - Beehive
For me this is the perfect glossy lipstick, on my lips it doesn't change the colour but does add just that right amount of shine to them. It's a perfect, easy to wear lipstick that I can wear on a daily basis to Sixth form without looking overdone.

E.L.F - Pouty Petal
I adore Pouty Petal as it's such a gorgeous pink, I find E.L.F's lipsticks to be so moisturising on my lips and they actually last on my lips. For only £3.50, it's an absolute bargain for such a nice shade of lipstick.

Collection 2000 Cream Puff - Cotton Candy
I began to see alot of reviews on these Collection 2000's products and immediatly made me want to see what all the hype was about. I love the fact that it goes on like a lipgloss which for me personally, gives me more precise coverage and then dries matte which makes it appear like a lipstick. I defiantly want to get my hands on a few more of these, to add to my collection of them.

So their is my three personal favourite lipsticks, I have lots more and defiantly found it hard to cut it down to three but I did it. If anyone has any recommendations then please let me know in the comment box!

Sigma F80 - A Neccesity in every girl's makeup bag

A few months ago I would always use my fingers or cheap sponges to apply my makeup. This was before I started watching Youtube videos and reading beauty blogs. The majority of the bloggers were on about the Sigma F80 brush and how it was their 'life saver' and made foundation so easy to apply.
At first I believed it was just sponsored posts, but as I began to see more and more pop up I realised that this was the real deal.
I made my order and within a week it arrived, and only one word can describe the brush. Amazing. It really does make foundation go on so easy and look flawless, it literally takes me about thirty seconds to get a full face of foundation on even without looking caked on.
Honestly girls, if you haven't purchased this brush yet then you need too right away. All the hype surrounding it, is their for a reason.

Recent Purchases

Over the last week, I have made four different purchases which I really shouldn't of as I'm 'meant' to be saving to go to Stratford. But anyway here they are:
MUA: Heaven and Earth Eye Pallete
I have wanted this for weeks, after a lot of bloggers started saying how good it was. My local superdrug didn't stock MUA products as it was only small and for a long time it was sold out online. But when I get an email saying Superdrug had free delivery, I found out it was in stock. I like to think of it as fate! But I absolutely adore this, it's very pigmented and has got plenty of neutral colours which I love. Such a bargain at £4 aswell!
Lush: 'Snow Fairy' Lip Tint' and 'Bubblegum' Lip scrub.
I went into Lush one Sunday afternoon when I developed several spots overnight and wanted Grease Lightening but when I went to the till these two delights were sitting their. The lip tint is so moisturising and has a small hint of pink when you place it on your lips. But the bubblegum lip scrub is my personal favourite of the two, ever since I bought it my lips have been so soft and smooth. It also tastes amazing aswell, 100% recommend it to anyone with chapped lips.
Bourjouis: Healthy Mix Foundation

This foundation is one of my all time favourites, for me personally it gives great coverage and is so buildable on the skin. It looks so natural on my skin and is perfect for school where I need a long wearing foundation without being heavy. I was tempted to try the new Healthy mix serum, but haven't read any reviews on it therefore didn't want to purchase it yet.

So their we have it, my four purchases over the last week and I'm happy to say I love them all and reccomend them to everyone especially the eye pallete and lip scrub.

My first ever post!

If anyone actually ever read's this then hi! I've been following Youtube & beauty blogs for about six months and have finally decided to make my own! So an introduction: my name is Katie Evans, i'm seventeen and in year thirteen in sixth form. I've been properly interested in makeup for the last year or so, but now i'm becoming a bit obsessed and my blame for this is mainly because of beauty bloggers!

That's me back in January.
So hopefully this blog is a success and someone actually reads it and finds it interesting, but their is defiantly going to be some posts coming up soon. (Hopefully I'm not speaking to myself)
